PANTHER PRIDE CLUB DETAILS

The School Age Child Care (SACC) program at Peabody Elementary is called the Peabody Panther Pride Club. This program is one of the best in the Littleton Public School system. The Panther Pride Club will begin its 18th year August, 2013! We have a wonderful staff to provide a fun and safe environment! Panther Pride offers several fee based options to meet your needs. These programs are individually priced.

Panther Pride Club

Before School Child Care (6:30-8:30 a.m.) Panther Pride provides a safe and relaxing start to your student’s day. Our “club members” have many activity options including computers, manipulatives, gym, games, and art materials. Some choose to work on their homework or just sit and visit! Milk is provided. This before school program is offered two to five days a week at $9.00 per day.

After School Child Care (3:10-6:00 p.m.) After school “club members” start their afternoon with a healthy snack from 3:10 – 3:25, followed by outdoor play until 4:00. From 4:00 – 5:30 p.m., students split into three groups and rotate to different “clubs”. These include homework, art, gym, games, manipulatives and computer clubs. Students may attend two to five days per week at $10.00 per day.

Full Day Child Care (6:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.) A full day of care is provided on In-service days and during the summer months. The students are involved in many art, science, cooking, conflict management and recreational activities. Children in our summer program are encouraged to check out books from the Peabody library and will participate in a reading incentive program. Our “club members” enjoy twice a week trips to King’s Point Pool (during the summer months) as well as many other field trips and special presentations. Some days lunch will be provided, while other days students will need to bring their lunch from home. Students may attend two to five days per week. The fee is $32 per day and includes all snacks, materials, field trips and special presentation costs.

If you are interested in registering or need more information about our SACC programs, please contact Mrs. Mary Lloyd or Mrs. Eileen Eastridge in room 9 or call us at 303-347-4635.

Peabody Pals Preschool

Our Peabody Pals Pre-kindergarten program is taught by  Leigh Ann Gardner and Breah Hooper.  Children must turn 4 by October 1, 2013  in order to participate.  For more information please contact Mary Lloyd at 303-347-4635 or at mlloyd@lps.k12.co.us.

We will be hosting a Peabody Pals information night on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 from 6:30-7:30 p.m.  This is for families whose children will turn 4 by Oct. 1, 2013.  Free childcare will be provided.

Registration will be held on January 28 from 7:30-6 and January 29 from 7:30-4.  Our prek program tends to fill up quickly and we accept students a 1st come, 1st serve basis.  Littleton Public's Elementary Schools do not offer services for special needs students until they are in kindergarten.  Because of this, your child may be refered to the Village, where these services are provided.

CHILDREN IN THE PEABODY ATTENDANCE AREA OR FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN ALREADY ATTENDING PEABODY WILL BE GIVEN A PRIORITY FOR SLOTS.

Hope to see you there!
