We welcome you to our website and this snapshot of our unique community! Peabody Elementary was first opened in 1961 and continues strong 48 years later. We are a community of committed learners from our students to our staff and parents. When you walk in our doors you will immediately get the sense of a small town where children truly do come first!

At Peabody, our staff is committed to looking at the achievement and personal development of each child. We accomplish this by meeting in grade level teams each week – analyzing student data, developing common assessments, researching best practices and dialoguing about the learning of individual students. We are a professional learning community that is committed to providing a high quality, safe and nurturing learning environment for our preschool through fifth grade students.

Our parent community is equally committed to our children and their education. Parents are partners at Peabody and contribute in numerous ways from classroom volunteers, cross walk guards, fundraising to giving input on the school improvement plan.
